Snowmass has the biggest vertical drop in the United States 4,406 feet. Now add annual snowfall of 300 inches over the 2,655 acres and you have one huge ski area.

The giant mountain tops out at a peak elevation of 12,310 and the views of the blue skies and mountains are fantastic as you enjoy the 78 well groomed trails down through powder bowls across magnificent broad meadows with bump runs and glades along the way.

As part of the Aspen complex, Snowmass is paradise for families and skiers of all levels, all ages and all passions. Restaurants, services and lodges at Snowmass are almost all ski-in, ski-out places.

Snowboarding is great and there is a terrain park with a half pipe as well as snowboarding only trails. Cross country skiers enjoy 45 miles of groomed trails with overnight on-trail lodging available.

Located 220 miles from Denver, take I-70 to Glenwood Springs, then Colorado 82 to Aspen. Snowmass is located 12 miles west of the town of Aspen.
